Animals in the Camp

Small Encounters, Lasting Memories

Our surf camp is not only about the ocean, nature and community, but also about a very special part that makes children’s hearts beat a little faster: our animals. Goats, chickens and ponies are an integral part of everyday life in the camp and make the stay even more special for many families.

For children, being so close to the animals is a truly unique experience. Collecting fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning, greeting the goats or simply watching daily life in the small animal area – all of this is a natural part of the camp experience. The animals are not an attraction, but part of our everyday life, and children are encouraged to meet them with curiosity, respect and at their own pace.

Our animals are cared for with love and a strong sense of responsibility. It is important to us that children not only have fun, but also learn to treat animals with care, understand their needs and develop respect for all living beings. For many children, this is the first time they discover where eggs really come from or experience how calm and trusting interactions with animals can be.

For parents, this means happy, balanced children who spend time outdoors, explore, learn and gain real-life experiences. For children, these are often the moments they remember for a long time – and the reason they can’t wait to come back.

Our small “animal area” is not a petting zoo, but a living part of the camp. A place to observe, help out, be amazed and slow down. And for many families, it is a truly special part of what makes our place so unique.
