Surf Lodges & Holiday Homes
For those who prefer to enjoy their surf holiday in a more private and individual way, we offer a selection of accommodation options in and around Da Silva Surfcamp.
Our new Surf Lodges are located directly on the camp grounds — just a few steps away from the bar, pool and camp life.
In addition, we offer selected holiday homes nearby, which are ideal for families, groups of friends or anyone travelling together who appreciates having their own private retreat. This way, you can enjoy the freedom of private accommodation while still benefiting from everything our surfcamp has to offer: surf lessons, mountain bike tours, yoga, trail running and other activities can all be added to your stay.
You are also always welcome to join camp life — whether it’s breakfast, drinks at the bar, our BBQ evenings or gathering around the campfire at night.
The price includes two BBQ evenings per week as well as access to the breakfast buffet at the surfcamp.
Casa Galeria
Surf Lodge
Casa Galeria is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy their surf holiday with a little more privacy and comfort — without missing out on the surf camp feeling. The lodge was completely renovated and newly furnished in spring 2026 and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The spacious living and sleeping area features a large double bed as well as a sofa bed for two additional guests. There is also a separate room with a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. Above the bathroom, there is a single bed that can be reached by ladder. A sixth guest can sleep comfortably on the sofa. Whether it’s a relaxed breakfast in the morning sun, unwinding after a surf lesson, or enjoying cosy evenings with friends, the private sun terrace is the perfect place to experience the Portuguese way of life. During the cooler months, a pellet stove provides pleasant warmth and an especially cosy atmosphere. The lodge is also a small gallery — hence the name “Casa Galeria”. The walls feature works by our friend Pierre Costa as well as other local artists, including ceramic pieces by Ana Lúcia. The exhibited pieces can be purchased on site. Every spring, Casa Galeria transforms into a small exhibition space with new works and changing art objects by local artists.

A little note: The lodges are located right in the heart of camp life and just a few steps from our bar. Especially in summer, guests sometimes enjoy sitting together a little longer in the evening. However, during the week it usually gets quiet by around 10 pm at the latest. If it ever gets a little livelier, you can of course always let us know in a friendly way.
Casa Gilberto
Surf Lodge
Casa Gilberto is ideal for anyone who loves short walking distances, a private terrace, and the relaxed surf camp atmosphere — while still enjoying their own private retreat. The lodge was also completely renovated and newly furnished in spring 2026 and can accommodate up to 5 guests. The bedroom is designed for 3 people: two guests sleep in the cosy double bed, while another guest can sleep in the bunk bed above — which could also comfortably fit two children. In the open-plan living and kitchen area, including a dishwasher, there is also a comfortable sofa bed where 2 additional guests can sleep. The private terrace right in front of the lodge is the perfect place to start the day with a coffee, relax in the sun after your surf lesson, or wind down in the evening. During the cooler months, the wood-burning stove, known as the “Salamander”, provides cosy warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.

Casa Kika
Holiday home
From 2026 onwards, Casa Kika welcomes you to your very own house just about 800 metres from our surf camp. In around 10 minutes on foot, you’ll be right in the middle of camp life while still enjoying peace and independence at the same time. The house offers five cosy and equally well-appointed double rooms and is ideal for larger groups, groups of friends, or families travelling together who would like to stay among themselves. You’ll have the entire house to yourselves and can enjoy a relaxed, private atmosphere. The heart of the house is the fully equipped kitchen, where you can cook together and wind down after a long day. In addition, there are two comfortable shared bathrooms, a spacious living room with a cosy seating area, as well as a garden and backyard with outdoor furniture and a barbecue area. Perfect for long summer evenings, shared meals, and relaxed hours after your surf session. Casa Kika is the ideal choice for anyone who loves the camp feeling but values having their own private retreat as a family or group.

Casa Vasco
Goreti Vasco has lived in Germany with her family for many years. Now she has fulfilled her dream of owning a house in Portugal and rents two holiday apartments 400m from our surf camp. She is happy about guests with whom she can converse in German. If you take a leisurely stroll along the country lanes from here, you can reach the nearby bathing beaches in a short time. Guests can use the inner courtyard and a small meadow with a view of the countryside. The apartment consists of a large kitchen-living room with fireplace and TV, two double bedrooms (each 135 x 185 cm) and a bathroom with bathtub. There is also a second kitchen with a fireplace where you can have a good barbecue.

People
Our Surfcamp Portugal is an open house, which means that there is always a lot going on here. Apart from the communal dinners, which are included in the price, we often organize spontaneous barbecues or campfire sessions. Since we are half Portuguese ourselves, friends of ours (locals) come over to sit around the campfire. Then it is not uncommon that suddenly someone takes out a guitar and the evening goes on much longer than planned. But there are also some very nice party-excursions in the surrounding area, to which we would like to take you in our shuttle bus. After all, you should not only learn to surf, but also get to know some of the nice Portuguese nightlife.
